Swoffers have teamed up with Jersey-based property consultants D2 Real Estate to provide a pan-island specialist commercial agency.
Just two months after the management buyout of BNP Paribas Real Estate (Jersey) Ltd, D2 Real Estate has expanded into Guernsey and has set up an office at Ann’s Place in St. Peter Port, alongside Swoffers, Guernsey’s most successful residential agents, who have been instrumental in assisting D2 with their expansion. This match will ultimately be to the benefit of Swoffers clients who can now draw on the expertise of the largest commercial property consultancy in the Channel Islands, who are supported by BNP Paribas Real Estate, one of the largest global real estate advisors, through an alliance.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Swoffers” said Andy Biggins, who will be responsible for commercial lettings for D2 while retaining his role as a Director of Swoffers. “We now have a team of 10 across both islands who have the experience and knowledge to deal with all manner of commercial work.”

From its bases in St. Helier and now St. Peter Port, D2 Real Estate will provide a comprehensive commercial property service including commercial property management, lettings, valuations and landlord and tenant consultancy.
The team in St. Peter Port will be led by Matt Birch, formerly of Swoffers, who has over 20 years of commercial property experience. He will be assisted by Andy Biggins while the pair will be supported by the team of eight in Jersey. The management’s intention is to recruit additional staff in Guernsey during the next six months.
