Wrapping up our community initiatives for the year, Swoffers are sharing festive treats twice over.
We’ve organised a fantastic festive giveaway in the run up to Christmas. Starting from 1st December running until 20th December, we’re are giving away a luxury Christmas treat each day on social media. The prizes include everything from seasonal fizz and luxury chocolates to lottery tickets and even a plump turkey!
And in the true spirit of Christmas, as well as giving prizes away to our social media followers, for every one of the 20 treats we’re giving away, its twin is going into a hamper, worth nearly £1,000, that is being donated to the Salvation Army.
Community Centre Manager Sue Le Poidevin joined Swoffers Director Andre Austin at the Old Government House to get a preview of the treats in store whilst we filmed all the goodies going in to the hamper. Andre said of the charity, “It didn’t take long for us to decide on who should receive the hamper. Of course the Salvation Army do sterling work in the community all year round, but they are synonymous with helping the less fortunate have a Merry Christmas, and we are delighted to be able to something back to them.”
The great giveaway started on the 1st December!
