Our Team
Our dedicated Local Market Department, as pictured above, is an extremely busy and highly successful part of the Swoffers Team. It is led by Director, Spencer Noyon together with fellow negotiators Stuart Thompson, Sophie Ephgrave, Andre Austin and Andy Biggins. Together they deal exclusively with local market properties and have the widest range of skills and experience in this area. Office based back up is provided by Jenna Bougourd and Bev Esteves.
Our Services
We provide a full and comprehensive service from initial valuation and advice on marketing to the taking of full colour particulars when you have decided to sell your home. Once you have made the decision to sell we conduct all viewings by appointment, keep you abreast of developments, forward all offers and negotiate the final sale on your behalf. We use all the modern conveniences at our disposal to ensure that you are getting the best possible service and that currently includes a fully computerised office, modern laser printing and a heavily visited website which shows most of the properties we currently have for sale. In addition, particulars can now be sent speedily by e-mail or via text to your mobile phone, ensuring your property gets into circulation with the minimum of delay.
Property - Home and Investment
Whether you are looking for a new home or a property for investment, we have the expertise to be able to help you to make the right choice. Over the years, home ownership has proved to be an excellent long term, and in many cases short term, investment and Swoffers has been in the forefront of carrying out a good percentage of those sales. If you are contemplating buying or selling why not contact Guernsey’s most effective agents who will provide you with an efficient, friendly and informed service. Just call Spencer, Stuart, Sophie, Andre, Lucy or Andy on 711766. We can't take all the stress out of buying your new home but we will try to make it an enjoyable experience.
YOU CANNOT OCCUPY LOCAL MARKET HOMES UNLESS YOU ARE LOCALLY QUALIFIED OR YOU ARE TAKING EMPLOYMENT IN AN ESSENTIAL OCCUPATION FOR WHICH A HOUSING LICENCE WILL BE GRANTED. |
Properties For Sale
In addition to the following, we are currently instructed on a number of properties which we have been asked to handle in a confidential manner. A phone call to one of our Directors or Negotiators will enable them to provide further details on these homes, subject to genuine enquiry.

'Glebe House' has a long history with parts of it dating back over 300 years. Built, and used for most of its life as a rectory, it moved into private hands in the 80's and has undergone an extensive programme of renovation since then with some wonderful further improvements undertaken by the current owners. The accommodation on offer is extensive and will happily suit the needs of even the largest families. Incorporated within the house is a self-contained granny flat at first floor level and all of the bedroom suites provide spacious accommodation. The reception rooms are a particular highlight and enhancements to the lounge and dining area have resulted in magnificent open living space. The leisure complex featuring gym and indoor pool have been a popular addition. The gardens are a delight, enclosed within high granite walls they extend to just over a vergee and are wonderfully private. Finally there is a barn-style car port and parking for numerous cars.

La Hougue lies in a sheltered spot at the bottom of its own grassy hillside garden in a quiet lane just a moment's stroll from the bay at Perelle. This charming characterful farmhouse is believed to pre-date the late 17th century and has been added to progressively over the years. It was even used as billeting during the German Occupation when a bunker was constructed at the top of its garden overseeing the broad sweep of the bay below. A detached granite barn just a few yards from the house houses a garage, storage and a kitchenette with a guest suite and conservatory above. The house itself has three reception rooms including a superb sitting room with original granite fireplace and furze oven, a charming dining room and an excellent study. The kitchen/breakfast room has a distinct country feel about it and has a cosy range which provides cooking, heating and hot water supplies for the whole house. The first floor has three bedrooms and a shower room, the master being beautifully finished with bespoke hand painted furniture which extends into its dressing room with its bathroom beyond. The garden extends to around one acre and offers great variety with its lawns, pretty shrubberies, seating areas and stand of mature firs through which a lovely view extends over the bay. At the garden's crest lies the bunker which has been extensively renovated whilst leaving many original features. It's dry interior could be used for hobbies or even as a magnificent wine cellar!
