Interesting properties
and projects

As is often the case, once a new year begins, our thoughts tend to gear up towards moving house and 2013 has been no different.
Since the beginning of the year we have seen a number of properties coming onto the market many of which Swoffers will handle confidentially but that has still allowed an interesting variety to find their way into the pages of this Spring Review.
March saw the launch of ‘One St Julian’s Avenue’ which offers luxury apartments and penthouses with superb sea and island views.
There is already a lot of interest in this site and I am pleased to be able to include in this issue a double page spread showing off some of its finer points.

Last, but by no means least, Swoffers are immensely proud to have been asked to market a ‘home with a history’.
Our front cover property Oakleigh in St Peter Port is a gracious Georgian home which has been lived in by a prestigious line of people.
Not surprisingly therefore, when the Island was occupied during the war, it caught the eye of the German General who chose it as his headquarters and ruled Guernsey from the
Morning Room!
On the project front, following on from the successful launch of Swoffers TV, mentioned in the Winter 2012 review, I am proud to say that we have also put substantial investment into a new website which went live in early March.
We are getting excellent feedback on it from both vendors and purchasers alike. If you haven’t already looked at it please take the opportunity to try it out on www.swoffers.co.uk
