No lack of movement in the market!

Our facing page tells an interesting story of how the market has been performing in recent months. Not only are we able to say that Swoffers have already sold a number of properties both above and below £1m we can also add that at the present time we have six more £1m+ properties under offer with Conditions of Sale drawn up and awaiting signature. If that wasn’t enough, there is no lack of buyers just waiting to buy more of these prestigious properties with many of them being snapped up within days.

There is obviously a great confidence in the market this year. As well as these upmarket sales, it is well documented that sales in general in 2007 are up on previous years despite a lack of new properties coming onto the market. This, of course, couldn’t have happened if there hadn’t been a good store of properties already available at the beginning of the year to which have been added multiple sales from a number of new developments.

With plenty of buyers and a shortage of properties the buzzword at the moment is ‘speed’.
